Am I not the most lucky girl in the world?
Above picture is my own little craft haven in a corner of the garden.

We planned and had the cabin built about 5 years ago
as a playhouse for our 3 children,
where they could have their own space to do what they wanted,
it even got an upstairs sleeping area for adventures sleep overs.
They were never out of the house for a couple of years,
but after a while it was ‘old news’ and just used as a storage and dumping are..
such a shame!
So, my plan to turn it into a Garden Studio was born
It took approx 6 months of planning, decorating and organising,
it still is not finished by a long shot..
but getting there nicely!

Now.. don’t be put off by how tidy and neat it all looks,
that was just for the photo’s 
I love the fact that now I have area’s dedicated to stamping, cutting and colouring,
..keeping everything I need for each area close to hand.

There even is an upstairs for more storage
and maybe some crafty sleep overs!!
All I have to do is crawl upstairs.. and drop!!

I’ve had alot of emails about the cabinets and other storage solutions
I have used and will get some photo’s up
with explaining what they are with some photo’s soon.

Wow. I had to pick my jaw up from the keyboard where it had fallen in complete awe at the sight of your amazing studio Marlene. It is a stunning space & if it were mine I would never, ever leave it.

OMG!!! I’m very jealous hun!! This is amazing, it’s like a craters paradise! I think we would all love to have an area like this to play all day! i thought I had a lot but it wouldn’t even fill a corner!Even my hubby was impressed!

OMG….WOW, Georgia and I have just had to wipe the drool off our chins and the keyboard….I think you need a bed upstairs for when you are just too tired to walk back down the garden to the bedroom.

Wow, is there room for my bed upstairs!!!!! Love it, so bright and VERY organised. Wonderful if my husband will buy me a wonderful shed like that.

Wow Marlene, your studio is amazing!!!! Love it! I’m sure you will have many happy hours crafting and creating in there. You have done a great job, so tidy and organised too! I love it. That looks like a dream. I am blessed to have my own craft room, never thought of a craft studio. I am going to show my husband your video, LOL. I am not jealous of envious, but inspired. I love how you have put it all together and I will look at IKea stuff now for sure. I love the neat look, and really like all the white. Would love to see pic of it in working conditions ( not so neat and tidy).

To be able to go to your studio and all you have to think about is the project of the moment.. bliss!
For those of you with questions of the ‘normal’ conditions of my studio… well.. it NEVER is as tidy as in those pictures.. I just don’t work that way, but the beauty of having so much space to myself is that i can hide alot away in cupboards… out of sight of the camera lens.. is all I will say for now..lol x

WOW! I am so inspired! I too have a playhouse in the backyard for my kiddos that I am eyeing for my own stamping studio (someday). It is still getting electric so kids haven’t really gotten to enjoy it much yet, but in everything we do I have in the back of my mind a someday studio! I could use your help getting organized and ideas on how to layout my counters/cabinets etc! just love u craft room or i should say u craft haven ty for share i try me craft room but it didnt work out i got sicker and got hared to go in that room i mostly do my crafts in my bed or on the lliveing room chair are just floor somewhere . i love to make cards and i love to make jewlery happy crafting month hugs prayers love darla i be pining u if it let me, ty so very much for shareing
